I bought this book to get me more into fingerpicking. I m not a beginner and learned to fingerpick a little back in the late 1960's / early 1970's but wasn't really into it. I was more into stuff like Black Sabbath and Blue Cheer etc, and never developed beyond a rudimentary skill in fingerpicking.
This book was great for me and gave me a well laid out plan to follow using usable songs which allowed me to develop a skill I needed.
If you're willing to do the time, get this book. It's not about loving every song or example, it's about learning a skill.
